Today Jude tried out tummy time for the first time. He was only on his tummy for a few minutes, but he sure made a fuss. For the first minute he just laid there, then he started getting upset and moving his legs around. He eventually got his legs curled up under his belly to where he was on his knees. He is quite the wiggly boy!
First Tummy Time at 3 Weeks 1 Day
We also continued our time outs with Eli today. He went the entire day with only 2 time outs!!! One for hitting and one for throwing something over the gate onto the stairs. That means he only threw 1 thing down the stairs today!!! That is a huge improvement. Two days ago I was picking up 10 - 15 things off the stairs each day. He clearly gets it! When he did throw the toy onto the stairs today he looked at me and started crying because he knew he was going in time out. That was in the morning and he didn't throw anything else over the gate! I am so glad this is working. I hate to hear him cry like that, but I know that we are doing the right thing!
My Playful Little Boy
Today was the first weekend of college football. We now have 2 teams to cheer for, Iowa and Purdue. They both won today!!!! Mike had to support both teams so he wore his Purdue shirt and his Iowa hat. Eli had his Purdue shirt on and then he had to borrow daddy's hat to show his support for Iowa. Everytime we get excited and say touchdown Eli gets excited and puts both arms straight up into the air. It is very cute!
