My Valentines

We had a very fun Valentine's Day yesterday! The boys helped me make some yummy Valentine's cookies and then after Mike got home we all played Candyland several times! I sure do love my 3 Valentines!

My Valentine Jude
Mike Surprised me with these beautiful flowers!! It just made my day!!!
Yesterday was also a big day for Jude, he turned 18 months old! He is really turning into such a big boy lately. I can't believe how much he is talking. He repeats just about anything we say. We are hearing at least 10 new words a day it seems. He loves to look at books with us and that is where he is getting a lot of his new words. He will point to something and we will tell him what it is and then he will repeat it. His favorite book is a little people zoo book and he is really learning the animals. His favorite animals to say in the book are hippo, rhino, and iguana. His little voice is just adorable!!! Another favorite thing for Jude to do is to play with his toy kitchen. He always comes up to me and says "kitchen" and I will ask him if he wants to play kitchen and he will say "Yeah, Mommy". Mommy always has to play too! We have so much fun together!
My sweet little Valentine is 18 months old!

I feel blessed to have my 3 boys be my Valentines!

My Haircut!!!

I have been debating on cutting my hair for awhile now. I really do love it long but it takes such a long time to actually do it. It takes at least 30 minutes to blow dry it! So most of the time I ended up just pulling it up. It was definitely time for a change.

Just Dance

Eli has been having so much fun dancing with our Xbox Kinect dance game and we have been having so much fun watching him dance. He really gets into it and actually tries to do what the dancer is doing. So much fun! Here is a clip of him dancing.

Jude is Wearing Big Boy Underwear

That is right, my little 17 month old boy is wearing underwear! I should probably mention that he is wearing the underwear over his diaper! He is such a silly boy! He thinks he needs to wear big boy underwear now that Eli is. For the last few days he has gotten a pair out and brought it to me or he has sat down and tried to put it on himself. So I finally gave in and let him wear them on top of his diaper. He thought is was the best thing ever and ran around with a smile on his face.
Silly Jude!
Having so much fun!

Iced In

We are getting ice, ice, and more ice. I didn't have any daycare kids today and Mike stayed home so we had a fun day with the boys! Eli got a fun go fish game from my sister Katie and her family for his birthday so we have been playing that constantly. We also got out Don't break the ice to get a break from go fish. :-)

The back yard is a sheet of ice and the dogs hate it. Reggie got his leash wrapped around the slide one time so I had to go help him and then tonight mike had to dig out a little spot in the ice so they could go to the bathroom. Maggie didn't like to go on the ice.

We are still getting hit with ice right now. The lights have dimmed a few times, hopefully we won't lose power. Mike is able to work from home tomorrow so he won't have to go out in this weather. We will see in the morning if any of the daycare kids will make it. Another ice day would be fun!
