Isabel and the Walking Toy! (video)

I can't believe that Isabel is getting so big! I got out our little walking toy yesterday for Isable to play with and I was completely surprised when she was able to walk with it right away! I was trying to block it with my foot so that it would move slowly and she didn't like that. I moved my foot and she just took off with the biggest smile on her face! I was so much fun to watch her. It won't be too long and she will be walking!

Sprinkler Fun!

A few weeks ago we had some extra hot weather and decided we needed a new way to beat the heat.  So we picked up a fun sprinkler for $10 and the boys have been having a blast with it!  This sprinkler is awesome!  It soaks the entire back yard!  It took Eli a few minutes to really run through it but now the boys have no fear!  The run through the water, jump over the sprinkler and even try to squirt each other.  We are going to get a lot of use out of this sprinkler!  Isabel enjoys being outside but doesn't really care too much for the sprinkler.  She sure is a cutie in her swim suit though. :-)

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a wonderfully fun weekend!  It was hot hot hot so we had to find some fun ways to stay cool.  Saturday we filled up our little pool and the let kids have fun swimming in our backyard.  We were supposed to go to a family cookout at my sisters on Sunday but Eli woke up in the middle of the night and had gotten sick in his bed.  He seemed absolutely fine and I was pretty sure that it was just a flook but we didn't think being out in the hot sun was a good idea.  So instead we headed to the movies to see the Lorax!  To end this fun weekend we headed over to the in laws for a cook out and family swim!  All 3 of our kids LOVE the water!

Mother's Day

I had a very wonderful mother's day!  All 3 of the kids slept in until 8:00!  Of course I was up at 6:30 to shower and get ready before the kids woke up. :-)  We went out for breakfast with Mike's side of the family.  There are 6 kids 5 years old and under so it is always a good (loud) time when we get together.  Grand baby #7(not from me) will be here in December so the fun times will continue!

After breakfast we came back home and went for a nice walk.  They had been calling for rain but it ended up being gorgeous outside which was perfect for our lunch picnic with my side of the family.  The boys had a blast playing on the playground with their cousins and checking out a little trail that led to some water.  After we came home the boys had to try on the Ninja Turtle costumes Grandma Alice brought for the boys to play with. :-)

It is always wonderful to spend time with family, always!

I am so very blessed to have these 3 call me mommy!
