We have had a busy week or so around here. Last Tuesday the boys started getting colds. Jude's was a little worse at first with a fever but by Thursday Eli's fever shot up to over 102. We kept it down with Tylenol and Motrin but it never got below 100 all day Thursday and Friday. He did throw up once, but I think that was just because of his fever rising so fast. Over the weekend both of their fevers went away and we were just left with a very yucky nose for Jude and a terrible cough for Eli.
Over the weekend the boys really enjoyed watching the snow we got. Eli really wanted to go outside and play in but we told him that we had to wait until he was feeling all better and we needed to get him so snow boots. Now when he looks outside he says "Mommy, we need to get snow boots and I can go play in the snow!"

Today I took the boys into the Dr. Jude was scheduled for his 15 month check up and they were both getting their flu shots. Since Eli was still battling his yucky cough I had the Dr check him out too. I am glad I did, both boys have a sinus infection and ear infections. Eli's is a double ear infection. Since they had been battling this for over a week now and had both the ear infections and the sinus infections he decided that antibiotics was the best way to go and I fully trust our Dr.
Dr J is so great with the boys, they were both smiling and laughing the entire time. Eli had a blast. Dr J was talking to him and asking him questions and Eli went right along with it. At one point Eli asked the Dr what his name was and Dr J told him. Then a few minutes later Eli said "excuse me Dr, can I ask you a question". Of course he didn't really have a question, he just wanted the Dr to pay attention to him instead of Jude. Eli wasn't shy at all and he was so brave when he got his shot. He didn't cry at all. Poor Jude had to get 3 shots, he was fine after the first one but then he needed his momma.
Jude is now 24 lbs!
Eli is now 29 lbs!
