Random Ipod Pictures

I take so many pictures on my ipod each day.  I hate that I do it because the quality is terrible and I have such an camera that takes amazing pictures but my ipod is usually close by so I can grab it to snap a quick picture before some silly or cute moment is over.  I do still take quite a bit(too many if you ask my boys) pictures with my real camera so I will try and do a random picture post soon with those pictures too.
These pics are all from October and November and if there seem to be more of Isabel it is because she is the easiest to snap pictures of (she doesn't tell me no!) and she is always doing something silly. :-)

Isabel enjoyed her dinner!

Isabel has been throwing some major fits lately.  I have been asking her if she wants to go in timeout and she has always said no and then stopped throwing her fit.  Well this day she said yes so I told her she could go in time out.  She walked over to it sat down and then gave the cutest smile. :-)

So the next day when she was throwing a fit I asked her if she wanted to go in timeout and she said yes, walked over to it and sat down.  Silly girl enjoys timeout.  We will see what she thinks of it when she is actually in trouble. :-)

Silly place to read a book. :-)

If this girl finds a bucket she must get in it!

Happy Cast Off Day to Isabel!

Today was a big day for Isabel.  Not only did she turn 16 months old but she also got her cast off!  Yay!  We had to celebrate this big day by signing her cast!  It is such a cute little cast. :-)
I was a little worried about how she would do when they had to use a big noisy saw to cut the cast off but she did great.  She fussed a little bit but didn't cry at all.  I think it helped that she was sitting in my lap the entire time.  The nurse said he was quite impressed.  He said most kids her age and even older have to be held down.  After they got it cut off we headed back to have it x-rayed to make sure that it had healed.  She was not too happy about the xray.  Poor girl screamed and screamed while I had to hold her down. :-(  The Dr said that everything looked great and she should be just fine but it may take a day or 2 for her to be up and walking on it because it could feel awkward to her after being in a cast for the past 3 1/2 weeks.  Of course after we got home it took her all of 2 minutes to decide to walk on it. :-)  She was a little wobbly and after 4 or 5 steps decided to crawl for a bit but by tonight she was walking everywhere! She is such a tough little girl!

And since I don't get a day off too often we I rescheduled her 15 month check up for today so I only had to take 1 day off.  The boys got to come along too to get their flu shots.  Isabel had a great check up but of course wasn't too fond of her shots but I had 2 very BRAVE boys who barely made a face when they got their shots! :-)

Isabel's 15 months stats
Weight: 23.9 lbs
Height: 31.5 inches
Head: 47.5 inches

Love these 3!

Halloween Through the Years

Halloween is such a fun time and we have always had a lot of fun getting the kids ready and picking out the perfect costumes!  It used to be us picking out the costumes for them but Eli and Jude have picked out their own costumes the last few years.  We have also been blessed with a very talented grandma who has made the most awesome costumes for us.  This is the first year that we have bought any costumes.  Here are the kiddos costumes over the past 5 years. :-)

2012 Iron Man, Nemo, and Hulk

2011 Green Lantern, Pooh Bear, and Spiderman
2010 Dinosaurs

2009 Brobee and Muno from Yo Gabba Gabba
2008 Our little Westie

Isabel the Painter!

We painted pumpkins before Halloween and Isabel had a blast and then today I asked the boys and the daycare kids if they wanted to paint and Isabel got so excited! So I set her up in her chair with a paper and some paint and let her go! She LOVED it! I think this girl is going to have an artsy side! :-)
